French Toast was a staple food for me when I was growing up. Who doesn't love french toast?
But as I got older, and started eating healthier, I replaced the sugar with maple, the eggs with fresh almond milk, and the traditional unhealthy white bread with our kamut sourdough bread.
This recipe is an ode to my childhood. Hope you'll enjoy!
