They followed a group of 370 men for 4 years. Some were instructed to just increase their fluid intake, and some were instructed to eat vegetables at every meal and cut back on meat. They ate 3 meals a day, avoided large dinners, and left more time between dinner and bedtime (eating dinner earlier).

The low meat high vegetable diet was a huge success. Over 4 years the men were 40-60% less likely to have recurring kidney stones than the men who merely drank more fluids.

The researchers concluded that diet should be the first line of prevention against kidney stones in Japan.

2) Drink More Water-

Its Important to drink enough water to keep the kidneys clean. Opt for spring water


3) Fresh Juices - 

Juice fresh juices daily aim for 16 oz per day. Your juice can be a mix of fruit and some greens. Avoid spinach. Alternate your greens. Add watery ingredients like cucumber (remove peel), green apples, berries, mango, papaya. Opt for organic or even better buy from local farmers who don't spray with pesticides.

Most commercial breads are full of toxic chemicals, so i would avoid them. I eat 2 slices of kamut or Einkorn bread for breakfast (at around 10am) and 2 slices for lunch.
